Storyline:
True crime writer Allison Osvalt himself and his family moved into a house where a terrible crime took place before, but his family does not know. He tries to learn more about the crime to him to write a new book about him to help his flailing career. It uses some footage tobacco he found in the house to help in his research, but soon discovers more than expected. The figure in each of the films, but who or what is it? As a result, his family starts suffering (as it is), and they in turn for the worse. Will they survive?
