This is the true story of Oskar, a 22-year resident of the Bay Area who wakes up on the morning of 31 December 2008, and feel something in the air. You do not know what it is, he takes as a sign to a head start on their resolutions: to be a better son to his mother, whose birthday falls on New Year's Eve, is a better partner for his girlfriend which has not been completely honest so late, not fixed, and is a better father to a T, their beautiful four year old daughter. It begins well, but as the day goes by, he realizes that change is not easy. He crosses paths with friends, family and strangers, each exchange shows us that there is much more to Oscar than the eye. But it would be his last session of the day, with the police to Fruitvale BART station to the Bay Area to shake the very foundations, and cause the whole nation, the story of Oscar Grant's witness.
